The Digital Leap: Once the bronze was finished, it was professionally scanned. That STL file was then sent to me at Tallman 3D Arts studio.

I communicated with the caster to cut the file precisely at the best point for both printing and molding. We discuss the best materials to print with and stay in close communication with the artist.

Project: The Wolf Study Edition Collaboration: Kristen Douglas-Seitz (@ThePaintedFeather) & Raven Garfield Casting

Traditional Origins: The original clay sculpt was first molded and cast in wax by my casting partner, Raven Garfield Casting, then sent to the foundry to be poured in bronze.

The Precision Master: My role was just as critical for process: printing the physical master. Using dental-grade accuracy, I produced the 3D-printed wolf that captured every ounce of detail from the bronze scan.

The Tallman3D Advantage: Whether your work is in clay, bronze, or pixels, we provide the physical bridge. We don't just print files; we create the Masters that define your entire production run.

4️⃣ The Study Edition: That printed master was sent back to the caster to be molded for a special poly-resin edition. These 'study' casts—including one with a stunning metal patina—are now used by Kristen’s students as definitive anatomy references.
